Tour Overview:

Depart early from Muscat for a full-day journey into the heart of Oman’s natural beauty and desert culture. Our first stop is a quick photo opportunity at the charming village of Fanja, known for its scenic mountain backdrop and traditional mud-brick homes.

We then continue to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most stunning and well-known wadis. Surrounded by dramatic rocky cliffs, this oasis features crystal-clear freshwater pools, perfect for swimming, relaxing, or simply soaking in the scenery. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore deeper into the wadi or discover its hidden caves. Lunch can be enjoyed at a local Omani restaurant nearby.

In the afternoon, we head to the Wahiba Sands Desert, where endless golden dunes await. Experience the thrill of off-road desert driving and the tranquility of the vast sands. You’ll visit a traditional Bedouin house, where (subject to availability) you can enjoy authentic Omani coffee and dates. You also have the option to ride a camel and capture memorable photos atop the dunes.

After this immersive desert adventure, we drive back to Muscat.

For women: Please wear a t-shirt and shorts that go below the knees for swimming at Wadi Bani Khalid.
